What Nubem stores

Nubem stores only the data needed to operate your account and deliver the app's chat, call, notification, and file-transfer features.

This can include your account ID, profile name, profile picture if you choose one, status message, password hash, remembered login tokens, friend/block lists, and Android push notification tokens.

Messages, calls, and files

Chat messages are not kept as permanent logs. Messages are held only while needed for delivery, unread state, and short-lived app behavior.

Files and party media are temporary. They are relayed only while needed for transfer or playback and are deleted after download, disconnect, replacement, or expiry.

Audio calls are used to connect Nubem users. Call audio is not recorded by Nubem.

Translation and subtitles

If translation or call subtitles are enabled, the text or audio needed for that feature may be sent to the configured AI provider only to produce the requested translation or transcription.

Notifications

Android notifications use Firebase Cloud Messaging. Nubem stores the device push token so messages and calls can wake the Android app.

Sharing

Nubem does not sell personal data and does not use advertising trackers. Data is shared only with service providers needed to run requested features, such as push notifications, relay hosting, and optional translation/subtitles.

Deleting your account

You can delete your Nubem account while signed in. Open your profile, choose Edit, then press Delete my account.

Nubem does not use email or phone-number accounts, so there is no email-based account recovery or ownership check for a profile name.

When an account is deleted, Nubem removes the account ID, profile name, profile picture, status message, password hash, remembered login tokens, friend/block lists, and Android push notification tokens for that account.

Messages, file relays, games, and party media connected to the deleted account are removed as part of account deletion or by the normal temporary cleanup rules.
